DNA health records

Open a dog profile, choose Records, and use DNA health records to add one or more structured results.

The guided flow supports:

  • official laboratory reports;
  • results derived from separate sire and dam evidence when the inheritance outcome is deterministic; and
  • manual entry when no document is available.

Uploaded evidence is private, checked for supported type and size, and malware-scanned before it becomes available. Automatic extraction creates suggestions only. Review every suggested test and result before saving it.

Privacy is selected per result. A result can remain private, be public, or be shared with specific people. Sharing with a kennel organization transfers permanent custody of that result to the organization: the owner cannot later change, revoke, or delete it. An authorized organization office manager can maintain the locked record.

Hip and elbow X-ray results use the same health-record list and privacy rules. When a kennel organization issues the X-ray result, that organization can see it immediately; other organizations cannot see it unless you approve a separate sharing request. If an organization needs a private result for a litter review, Dogg sends an email and notification with a direct link. Review the organization and litter before accepting. Not sharing required evidence may delay registration.

Drafts save automatically and can be resumed or cancelled before submission. When multiple results exist for the same test, Dogg uses the newest verified result in mating and breeding calculations while preserving the complete history.

DNA calculations and automated extraction are decision-support tools. They do not replace a laboratory, veterinarian, geneticist, or professional breeding advice.
