Mating Outcome

The organization litter review checks the selected sire and dam against the registered pedigree before pedigree issuance.

When the FCI first-degree mating rule fails, Dogg shows the exact relationship found—father–daughter, mother–son, or full siblings—together with the registered dogs that caused the result. Office staff can open the Pedigree Builder directly from the result to correct an inaccurate parent link. If the registered links are correct, the mating cannot pass that regulation.

An incomplete pedigree is shown as Needs review, not as a pass. Dogg does not infer a safe relationship when the required registered parent links are missing.

Health calculations follow the same fail-closed rule. Dogg distinguishes a record that is private — sharing required from one that was not added yet, and it never calculates an offspring outcome from a value the viewer cannot access. Use Review sire health or Review dam health to open the relevant DNA & Health record and resolve access or missing evidence.
