My Dogs

What this page is for

Use My Dogs to browse every dog linked to your profile and quickly open a specific dog dashboard.

Who should use it

Owners, breeders, and handlers who manage multiple dogs and need a fast way to find the right profile.

How to use it

  • Open /my-dogs.
  • Use the search box to find a dog by name or nickname.
  • Filter by breed or sex when the list is large.
  • Turn breed grouping on or off depending on how you want to browse.
  • Open a dog card to move into that dog’s dashboard.

Register an imported dog

When you start an imported-dog registration, choose the dog from My Dogs when it is already connected to your account. Dogg fills the saved identity details. If a required detail is missing, Dogg keeps the details step open so you can complete it before continuing.

If the dog is not listed, choose Enter details manually. After the organization approves the registration, the dog appears in My Dogs. Nothing is added while the registration is still a draft.

If you select Continue while a required value is missing, Dogg explains what is missing beside the relevant field and brings that field into view and focus. Complete the field and select Continue again. On the documents step, add the export pedigree; on the review step, confirm the owner declaration. Your registration remains a draft until you submit it, so you can save and continue later.

Closing an unchanged draft is safe. If you changed a loaded draft, Dogg saves those changes before closing; it never replaces the draft with an empty form while the drawer is still loading.

What you can see

  • Dog name and basic identity details
  • Breed, sex, and date of birth
  • Deceased status when relevant
  • Breed groups that can be collapsed when grouping is enabled

Common mistakes and fixes

  • Dog not visible in the list: clear filters and search text first.
  • Breed group collapsed: expand the section to see the dogs inside it.
  • The page looks empty: confirm the dog is linked to your account.
  • A dog is missing from the imported-dog picker: only active dogs connected to you as an owner or co-owner are eligible. A dog already registered with the receiving organization is not offered again.

FAQ

Why are some dogs grouped and others not?

Grouping turns on only when it helps reduce a mixed-breed list.

Why do deceased dogs look different?

The page lowers their visual emphasis so active dogs stay easier to scan.
