My Kennel

My Kennel brings the daily work of responsible breeding into one calm workspace. It helps you see what needs attention now, while keeping the detailed tools for dogs, breeding, customers, documents, and payments in their existing places.

Your kennel at a glance

The default page shows a kennel-wide dashboard, so you do not need to open each dog to assemble the full picture. It summarizes:

  • living dogs, breeding readiness, and missing core details;
  • health evidence and hip/elbow coverage across recorded generations;
  • heats, planned matings, pregnancies, and breeding items needing attention;
  • litters, puppies, and the recorded contribution of dams and sires;
  • waiting families, overdue follow-ups, and upcoming puppy pickups; and
  • titles, breeding history, and completed mating insights.

The compact intelligence cards keep the kennel-wide picture visible without turning the page into a wall of tables. Open a card to inspect its details in a drawer without leaving My Kennel. Drawer state is kept in the page URL, so you can bookmark or return to the same view.

The graphics are summaries of the same recorded data: proportion bars show readiness and completeness, age bars show the kennel's age structure, health charts show recorded versus missing evidence, generation lines compare hip and elbow results over time, and production bars compare dams or sires. The exact counts remain available beside each graphic and to screen readers.

Use Change view in the kennel header to filter the whole dashboard by dog scope, breed, reporting year, and descendants. Active filters remain visible in the header. Reset them there whenever a count looks narrower than expected.

The focused drawers include:

  • kennel overview, including age, breeding readiness, and incomplete records;
  • dog-by-dog health evidence for one selected breed;
  • care rounds for recording weights, measurements, deworming, or treatment for several dogs together;
  • hip and elbow coverage by recorded generation, including a comparative index to help spot direction over time; and
  • dam and sire production, with expandable litter and offspring details.

The orthopedic index is a comparison aid based only on recorded grades. It is not a breeding recommendation, veterinary advice, or proof of causation. Missing or private results remain missing from the calculation.

Start with Today

Today is the best place to begin. It shows one recommended next action, items that need attention, the next seven days, and active breeding journeys. Open an item to continue in the relevant Dogg workflow. Nothing is changed just by opening My Kennel.

Opening an active litter keeps you on My Kennel and opens the same litter drawer used throughout Dogg. Its Overview, Heat, Progesterone, Matings, Whelping, Puppies, and Notes tabs remain available without moving to another page. Closing the drawer returns you to the same dashboard and filter state. Breeding plans that do not have a litter yet open in the dedicated planning workspace.

Use Today for tasks such as reviewing missing health evidence, recording a breeding milestone, preparing for a litter, or completing a handover step.

Dogs & health

Dogs & health shows the breeding team in a practical, dog-by-dog view:

  • which dogs are ready for the next stage;
  • which health evidence or review is still needed;
  • upcoming care work and recent care rounds; and
  • advanced health analysis when you need the full detail.

“Ready” is an explanation, not a guarantee or veterinary advice. Open the dog or health record to see the evidence, missing information, and any applicable breed or kennel policy.

Breeding & litters

Breeding & litters follows one connected lifecycle:

  1. Pairing plan
  2. Heat and mating
  3. Pregnancy
  4. Whelping
  5. Puppy care
  6. Placement and follow-up

Use this area to understand the current stage of each plan, not to create a second breeding record. The detailed planning, mating, litter, and puppy tools remain the source of truth.

Families & handover

Families & handover keeps the people-facing work connected to each litter:

  • applications and waitlist;
  • puppy matching;
  • agreements and payments;
  • handover; and
  • lifelong follow-up.

Customer and payment details remain private. They are visible only to people who already have the required kennel or organization permissions.

Program insights

Program insights helps you review the outcomes of the breeding program with health, welfare, diversity, titles, work, and data completeness in view. It is for reflection and planning; it does not replace veterinary, genetic, or club advice.

When an insight is based on incomplete information, Dogg shows that limitation and the source/freshness of the available data. Use the linked records to check or correct information before relying on an insight.

Understand who is included

Each count identifies its cohort. The common cohorts are:

  • Dogs I manage — dogs you are currently allowed to manage.
  • Dogs bred by my kennel — dogs associated with your verified kennel breeding history.
  • Dogs placed with families — kennel-bred dogs placed with families where the relevant relationship is recorded.

A count only uses the dogs named by its cohort and current filters. The page does not silently mix unrelated dogs, customers, or kennel records.

Permissions and privacy

My Kennel never grants access by itself. Your existing role controls what you can see and change:

  • Kennel owners and authorized managers can manage the records assigned to them.
  • Collaborators may be able to view or update only the work assigned to their role.
  • Customer, agreement, and payment details stay restricted to authorized people.
  • If you can view a section but cannot change it, Dogg clearly identifies it as read-only.

If a dog or kennel relationship looks incorrect, do not relink it by guessing. Use the provided review or claim path so the record can be checked and the history remains accurate.

Need help?

Open the relevant dog, breeding, litter, or customer record first. If the problem continues, send support the page URL, what you expected to see, and a screenshot that does not include private customer or payment details.
